Embroidery prices

Charge for embroidery at checkout. Every price starts at 0, so nothing is charged until you enter one.

Three kinds of prices

Customers see zone and symbol prices before they choose, and the text price updates as they type. At checkout and on the order, the total is one separate line, Embroidery add-on, charged for each item. Your theme's cart may show the product and the add-on as one line. Prices apply in your online store only. Other currencies use Shopify's exchange rate.

Permissions

TrueStitch needs two permissions for prices, granted at install or approved when Shopify asks after an update. If Settings shows Prices pending with Permission needed, click Fix and approve them. Not available means Shopify doesn't support add-on lines on your store.

The add-on product

The first price above zero creates the Embroidery add-on product. To rename it or set its tax, click Fee product in Settings › Prices. Don't delete, archive or draft it while you have prices. If you see Prices paused, click Fix.

When an add-on isn't paid

If an order arrives without the add-on paid (for example, another app changed the cart or the checkout function failed), the order still goes through, but production is held. Queue shows Fee unpaid and download is disabled. Held items don't reach TrueStitch Link or Cloud. Check the order, then click Release to produce it.

If you see Fees not charged, your last priced orders all arrived without the add-on — look for an app that changes the cart.

Limits

Changing your store currency

If you change your store currency while you have prices, they pause. Click Fix, then Reset: this clears all prices, so enter them again in the new currency. With all prices empty, a currency change needs nothing.

Stop charging

Clear the prices (empty means free). The add-on product is kept.
